All About Me

I'm Matt and I am originally from Nottingham and moved up to Cockermouth with my wife in 2015. I really enjoy being in the great outdoors and find it relaxing and re-energizing.

I graduated from the University of Derby in 2012 with a BA Hons in Outdoor Activity Leadership and Coaching. I have lots of outdoor qualifications including being a qualified and experienced mountain leader. Additionally, I have years of experience in the Lake District and know amazing and picturesque walks that cater to all abilities, ages and level of adventure.

I have worked full time as an Outdoor Instructor since 2012 all around the Lake District. I love spending my time amongst the mountains whether that be on the water or walking in the mountains.

When I'm not working, I enjoy the beauty that The Lake District has to offer and spend as much time outdoors with my family and dog as possible
